It’s no surprise that when an established pub like The Coach & Horses has been at the heart of its local community for as long as this one has that it become something of a favourite hangout. So, throughout its recent makeover, it was clear to the entire team that this warmth and familiarity was to be preserved and respected.

Staying true to its drinks offer and creating a food menu that will remain a hit with its regulars, The ‘new’ Coach & Horses is very much about the old! Why fix what isn’t broken? A cherished gem in the heart of this stunning spa town, we are delighted to be celebrating its next chapter and many chapters beyond. Welcome back!

Good old favourites

When it comes to comfort food, we have it nailed. There’s nothing like traditional good pub grub, so we add the freshest of ingredients, sourced as locally as possible and throw in an enthusiastic chef to get the pleasers to suit all tastes. From much-loved pies to fish & chips, mouth-watering bar snacks to a good Sunday roast, it’s all shaping up nicely for a relaxing treat any day of the week. We have two dining spaces, the existing ground floor spot and the newly developed first floor addition. Being opposite The Stray, we thought you might like the stunning views of 200 acres of pure green beauty.
